Fees Based on Claimed Amount

We charge attorney fees based on your claim or the amount you may benefit from. The following table shows the fees for first instance or arbitration, and it shall be calculated stage by stage accumulatively. If we act for the second instance, retrial, enforcement or judicial review procedure of arbitration, the fee can be reduced by half.

In 2010, Attorney Li was selected for the Lord Chancellor's Training Scheme (LCTS), sponsored by the UK Ministry of Justice and the Bar Council of England and Wales, and completed one year of training in London. Only 13 PRC lawyers were selected that year. He has also attended short-term programs in the United States. Proficient in English and familiar with English and U.S. law, he frequently represents domestic and international clients in disputes concerning international sale of goods, trade agency, cross-border investment, maritime and shipping, and construction/engineering, covering negotiations, mediation, arbitration, and litigation both in and outside China. He also serves as legal counsel to large SOEs and multinationals on international business. In recent years, Attorney Li has assisted PRC enterprises “going global,” building collaborations with counsel in many jurisdictions—particularly in Southeast Asia. His clients span aviation, chemicals, energy, electro-mechanical equipment, mining, finance and other sectors. Attorney Li's diligence is highly regarded by clients. DAVID LI

David Li holds an LL.M. from East China University of Political Science and Law. He has passed the Solicitors Qualifying Examination of England and Wales. He is among the first group of “Shanghai Foreign-related Legal Talents” recognized by the Shanghai Law Society, an “International Practice Specialist Lawyer” accredited by the Shanghai Bar Association, and a part-time professor and off-campus master's supervisor at the School of Law, East China University of Science and Technology. He serves as an arbitrator at arbitration commissions in Guangzhou, Hainan, Nanchang, Nanjing and others, a research fellow at the Arbitration Research Institute of China University of Political Science and Law, and a mediator with the China International Chamber of Commerce Mediation Center. He obtained his legal professional qualification in 2002 and has practiced since 2006.
